Program Description
Born September 1, 2009 – December 31, 2011
The Superior North Volleyball Club’s 16U Girls High Performance Team is designed for dedicated athletes committed to reaching their full potential both on and off the court. This elite-level program provides a competitive environment where skill development, advanced tactics, physical conditioning, and mental performance are integrated into every training session.
Led by experienced coaches, the High Performance Team trains multiple times per week, focusing on technical excellence, positional specialization, and team strategy. Athletes are challenged through a demanding training schedule and are expected to uphold a high standard of work ethic, accountability, and sportsmanship.
The team competes in the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) circuit and attends top-tier tournaments across the province and nationally, providing exposure to high-level competition and opportunities for athlete development at the next level.
This program is ideal for athletes with aspirations to play post-secondary volleyball or pursue long-term competitive excellence. More than just a team, the 16U High Performance program fosters leadership, resilience, and a growth mindset—developing athletes who thrive in volleyball and life.
While all athletes will have opportunities to gain experience throughout the season and contribute to the team, game time will be fair but not always equal. The emphasis is on creating a positive, growth-focused environment where athletes can prepare for future competitive opportunities
